Threat assessment involves the collection and examination of various facts and behaviors exhibited by a potential person of concern, which may indicate that a person poses a risk of conducting a targeted act of violence. Threat management encompasses strategies and techniques for disrupting a person of concern from moving forward to conduct a targeted act of violence.

Meg Ross, a First Responder Ambassador at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay

"The Shift That Never Ended" sheds light on the importance of wellness and resiliency among responders in the aftermath of a critical incident. The documentary delves into the emotional and psychological struggles faced by law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services personnel, dispatchers, and victim specialists who risk their well-being to save others. Through personal stories and insights, the documentary explores the impact of cumulative trauma, PTSD, and compassion fatigue on responders and their need for peer support, mental health resources, and organizational support.
